• Final Call for Blue Waters Illinois Allocations

  Final Call for Blue Waters Illinois Allocations Illinois faculty and researchers will have a final opportunity to apply for allocations on the University of Illinois’ Blue Waters supercomputer, which is planned to end service in December 2019* . Proposals for general allocations are due October 26th.  An information session will be held on Wednesday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m. in NCSA room 1040 to address proposal information and questions. The meeting will also be a forum to discuss Illinois researchers’ future needs for computing resources, regardless of whether they use Blue Waters or not. Details can be found at: https://bluewaters.ncsa.illinois.edu/illinois-allocations. *Contingent on pending approval of a project extension from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
