As of 12/10/2019 the primary authentication method for the Blue Waters portal was changed to NCSA's Duo multi-factor instance. Please follow the Enrollment steps at to enroll in NCSA Duo.

Your Blue Waters username is your NCSA Kerberos name.
Your Blue Waters RSA pin is NOT your NCSA Kerberos password.
If you are not able to use NCSA Duo as you do not have an appropriate device (smart phone, iPad, etc) then please contact help+its@ncsa.illinois.edu for assistance in getting a hardware device (Duo token). If you do not know your NCSA Kerberos password then please go to https://identity.ncsa.illinois.edu/ or contact help+its@ncsa.illinois.edu
